for me, the list is as follows from the previews and release lists ive seen so far and will see and gladly pay full price for:
Valentines Day (the cast looks awesome and it just looks like fun, though i normally avoid romance movies geared toward women)
Ironman 2 (the original was a total joy and pleasure to see and the 2nd looks to deliver the same)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1 & 2- love the books, love the movies. I'll be sorry to see this franchise go.
The A-Team- its the freakin A-Team. the casting looks on par, it looks fun, and a perfect summer time action flick.
The Expendables- this is going to be the largest assembled cast of past and current action stars in film history. It has all my favorites- Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Steve Austin, Randy Coture, starring/written/directed by Sylvester Stallone, Mickey Rourke, Arnold has a cameo and there are about a dozen other actrs and actresses who will be making appearances and cameos. it's done in 80's style super-action with current filming techniques. how can it not be utter win?
Eclipse- because i am compelled to see the films since I read all the books. im sorry. =(
Predators- re-hashed update to Predator, made by Robert Rodriguez. Im a lot suspicios of the cast, but he makes great films and Predator is one of the greatest action films ever.
Jonah Hex- western comic book action. i cant pass this up
The Green Hornet- loved the tv show, hoping that the new Kato does justice to Bruce Lee's first american tv acting gig and bad assery. |

Out of that list and from what I've seen that's pretty much the list of half decent movies this year. I'm going to see if I actually get time, Ironman for sure, Harry Potter for sure, The green hornet, The expendables, and Predators maybe if I have time.
Harry potter and Ironman I'll make time to see in the theater and hopefully wont be disappointed, but the black dude didnt come back on Ironman so that might make it suck, we will see! _________________
