I almost cried at this thread. I only got to hang with you guys on beta but I always thought in the back of my mind that if I wanted to go hard-core again, there was a place where my grammar-nazism and odd humor would be understood, nay, welcomed. I'll miss Club Fu.

I will re-read the forums when I need a laugh.

From time to time, I find myself trolling these old forums for nostalgic purposes. I believe it's been 6 years since I last logged in, and from what I can recall, I began my journey with Fu as one of the younger players in the guild - I believe that I was introduced by Tulkor and Rezz (RL friends) after RoV took a turn for the worst during my senior year in high school. Since my departure from EQ / Fu, I've finished an undergraduate and graduate degree, moved to Boulder Colorado, and have a stable career as an interactive producer for a fairly well known advertising agency.

I can't say that I miss those urgent 4am "beat AO to a spawn" phone calls, but since retiring from Fu, I have yet to game with a group of people that made me feel like I was a part of a tight knit, curb stomping family again. Congratz on the well deserved retirement, Pouty. I'm glad to see that Fu lives on.

ROFL, Fack the wall - I remember that one too. So long ago, so many new names, a few that I remember. So many memories, good times and bad. Learned that some few have spawned future raiders of their own, congratulations! lol

I Was at work thinking of the good 'ol EQ days and thought I would check out the old guild site. So sad to see Pouty retire- best guild leader I have ever had in any MMO.
